HI! Welcome to Misc. !
This segment will replace Teen@ge World's Cyber Talk. This
segment has no proper theme of its own so therefore don't be surprised if the content is
constantly changed with no connection to the previous content. This month we will be
showing you a couple of strange history facts. Hope you enjoy it. :-)

Just The Facts, Really !
Would you believe it that.......
 | Up until the nineteenth century, parasites were an accepted
part of life. Almost evertyone had fleas adn lice. In the seventeenth century, it was
considered bad manners to take lice, fleas or other vermin from your body and crack them
between you fingernails in company. |
 | At the time of his death, George IV was enormously fat. Only
two months before his death he was eating huge meals. One consisted of a massive quantity
of roast beef, two glasses of hot ale, toast, three glasses of claret, some strawberries
and a glass of brandy. He died soon after! As he was lying in state in a lead coffin, his
body decomposing body began to swell. The lead was seen to bulge dangerously. To stop the
coffin from exploding, the lead was punctured to let out the gas, and then recovered. |
Gross, Huh?
